AIPA members in Melbourne had the pleasure of meeting with Polish sociologists who came to Australia to participate in the XX ISA Congress of Sociology. Our guests were Professor Piotr Kulas and Professor Tomasz Zarycki from the University of Warsaw, Dr Tomasz Zając from the University of Queensland, Mr Marek Rohr-Garztecki from the Collegium Civitas, and Mr Michal Nawrocki from the University of Warsaw. The conference theme was Resurgent Authoritarianism; Sociology of New Entanglements of Religions, Politics, and Economies. We all enjoyed the exciting presentations and took part in fascinating discussions. All in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
