Supporting Polish activist and an Olympic and World Champion Dariusz Popiela

Dariusz Popiela is a social activist, a slalom kayaker, an Olympic and World Championship medallist and eight-times Polish Champion. He is a recipient of the Forum for Dialogue – Leaders for Dialogue grant in 2019, and in 2021 has been nominated for the POLCUL Foundation award which recognizes individuals engaged in building civic society in Poland.

Tygodnik Powszechny Foundation is supporting production of a film about Popiela’s work commemorating Jewish communities in Poland which disappeared during the Holocaust. You can support this initiative here.
