Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Dear AIPA Members and Friends,

As Christmas approaches, I extend my heartfelt wishes to you and your families during this joyful time of the year. May your homes be filled with the warmth of loved ones, the beauty of cherished traditions, and the hope for a better, brighter future.

This Christmas season arrives during a time of profound challenges in our world. The ongoing war in Ukraine continues to bring pain and hardship to so many innocent lives. We also witness the turmoil in the Middle East, with the plight of the Israeli hostages weighing heavily on our hearts, as well as the countless others caught in cycles of conflict and loss.

In the face of these dangerous and uncertain times, the message of Christmas—the promise of peace on Earth and goodwill to all—feels more urgent and necessary than ever.

To our Jewish friends, Happy Hanukkah! May your holiday be filled with light and love. May the spirit of resilience and tolerance bring blessings and happiness to you and your families.

With warm regards and hope for peace,

Dr Alexandra Margaret Dunwill

AIPA President
