Paweł Milewski has been Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Commonwealth of Australia since 2013. He holds a Master’s Degree in Sinology from Poznan University. He received government scholarships to attend the Universities of Beijing and Xiamen, China, where he studied in 1996-98. He has a post-graduate degree in foreign trade from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Ambassador Milewski commenced working in Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1999. Prior to his posting to Australia, he worked, among others, as counsellor at Poland’s Embassy in Beijing and as deputy director of the department of Asia and the Pacific.
