The Australian Institute of Polish Affairs (AIPA) vehemently condemns the recent attacks carried out by Hamas on Israel. These acts of violence have resulted in needless suffering, loss of life, and destruction in the region, and we stand in solidarity with all those affected by these hostilities.
We firmly believe in the principles of peace, justice, and respect for the rights and aspirations of all individuals and nations. It is with this commitment in mind that we deplore the use of violence as a means to address disputes and conflicts. We recognize that every act of aggression, regardless of its origin, only perpetuates a cycle of violence, jeopardizing the safety and well-being of innocent civilians on both sides.
A lasting solution to the complex challenges facing the Middle East can only be achieved through peaceful negotiations and dialogue. We call on all parties involved to exercise restraint, prioritize the protection of civilians, and return to the path of diplomacy. A peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict can only be realized through constructive engagement and a genuine commitment to a two-state solution.
The Australian Institute of Polish Affairs urges the Polish and international communities to join in the effort to de-escalate the situation, promote dialogue, and work towards a just and lasting peace in the region. We remain hopeful that, despite the current tensions, a future of coexistence, security, and prosperity can be achieved for all people in the Middle East.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this conflict, and we reiterate our condemnation of violence in all its forms.
